What is a disciple?
Discipleship is more about being an apprentice than being a fan.
At King’s Village we say a disciple is someone who follows Jesus in faith, obedience, and pattern of life in and for His kingdom.
How do we follow Jesus in faith?
By putting all our trust in Christ’s death, resurrection, and ascension leading to our salvation and a new abundant life in Christ.
How do we follow Jesus in obedience?
By seeking to obey all the commands of Christ as we live out the new life we have in Him.
How do we follow Jesus’ pattern of life?
By growing in our ability to live a life of obedience through adopting the simple, disciplined pattern of life modeled by Christ.
